The group initially came together as a team of comedic actors and improvisational musicians who decided to form a band. They got right to composing and performing original music as well as a variety of popular covers and new arrangements.

The band members and characters of Lyres & Liars consisted of lead vocalist Adam Sussman (Adam The Sparrow), Mandolin player Robin Kate Bailey (Wren Heron), Flutist Tash Gomez (Lady Natasha Finch), and percussionist Alex Redd (Alexander Von Warbler).

Lyres & Liars most recently finished a seasonal run as

“The Songbirds” at Legoland CA, with original material written for their winter season offerings.
